Teachers earn big despite coaching ban

A common Nigerian saying goes; when hunters learn to shoot without missing, birds learn to fly without perching.

With the ban on holiday coaching being enforced vigorously, teachers have found more creative but legal means of earning an extra dime, to improve their miserable pay.

The introduction of weekend and holiday packages has ensured that teachers keep their students academically awake throughout the holiday while bringing in something as well as resting from the routine 'talking shop'.

This they have done by setting a set of questions on what students have been taught in the week in case of weekend packages and also summing up what they have had for a full term as holiday packages and selling these to parents who will mostly won't find problems paying some few thousands to keep their children academically awake..
